General Questions and Written Examination Samples

 

3. Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship Recommended by The Embassy of Japan

 

(1) Research Students [ Click here for further details ]

  

Eligibility: Egyptian Nationality. You must be under 35 years of age. You must be graduated from a university until traveling to Japan. You must have completed 16 years of schooling.

Application period: Application will be announced on the embassy’s website in April, and the deadline for application will be in May.

 (2) Undergraduate Students

 

Eligibility: Egyptian Nationality. You must be under 25 years of age and have completed 12 years of school education, or have completed studies in school equivalent to a Japanese high school (including prospective graduates).

Application period: Application will be announced on the embassy’s website in April, and the deadline for application will be in May.

(3) College of Technology Students

 

Eligibility: Egyptian Nationality. You must be under 25 years of age, and have completed 11 years of school education, or have completed studies in school equivalent to a Japanese high school (including prospective graduates).

Application period: Application will be announced on the embassy’s website in April, and the deadline for application submission will be in May.

(4) Teacher Training Students


Application should be made through the Ministry of Education, Egypt. For details, please inquire to the Ministry of Education, Egypt.
Applicants must be graduates of universities or teacher training schools, and have worked as teachers in primary, preparatory or secondary schools in their home countries for at least 5 years.
 

(5) Japanese Studies Students

Applicants must be undergraduate students who are majoring in Japanese language or Japanese study. This scholarships are offered only for students enrolled in the following departments and universities:
   (a) Department of Japanese Language and Japanese Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University
   (b) Department of Japanese Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University

   (c) Department of Japanese Languages and Translation, Faculty of Foreign Language, Misr University for Science and Technology

   (d) Department of Japanese Languages, Faculty of Foreign Language, Aswan University

   (e) Department of Japanese Languages, Faculty of Foreign Language, Banha University
