Job Advertisement – Administrative Staff Position at Embassy of Japan

Embassy of Japan in Egypt is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our administration section as administrative staff member. This position plays a key role in supporting the daily operational and logistical needs of the embassy.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage and coordinate official vehicle arrangements, supervise the embassy’s drivers and arrange for vehicles maintenance.
  • Handle correspondence with Egyptian Foreign Ministry regarding registration of vehicles and receiving parcels.
  • Handle and process incoming and outgoing parcels and shipments.
  • Assist in administrative procedures related to recruitment and HR matters.
  • Take care of the airport operations on arrivals and departures of the diplomats and their family.
  • Perform other administrative and logistical tasks as assigned.
  • Provide basic IT support for issues related to printers, computers and network.  
 
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in administrative or logistical roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Solid IT background and ability to troubleshoot office equipment issues.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with embassy or international organization work environment is a plus.
